Youthful & Masculine
The forest-y view from this house would be easy to mistake it for a home outside Singapore. A light-toned floor combined with contrasting dark cabinet, that doubles up as a home shelter door, and an outstanding artwork from local artists, are warm greetings from the house. Followed by an adventurous material selection, starting from raw stone in the living area, natural wood in the kitchen, and the ultimate industrial masculine look in the study and master bedroom. The wide range selection is used to bring out the character of the homeowners and to compliment the environment that is in the surroundings. The outcome is a mature mansion that retains a youthful spirit.
Soothing Scandinavian
First good impression of the house once entering the unit is bright and spacious. The light color palette is beautifully placed and it makes the space look pleasing and effortless on the eye. A dark long panel behind the TV contrasts the earth-toned top hung storage, and the living area is complete with the soft bluish-green rug. A mini bar is also introduced in the space to create an inviting connection with the dining area. The almost-all-white kitchen blends really well with the surroundings, knowing that it can be seen through the transparent entrance glass door. A light-toned wood texture is brought over in the master room, but this time, it is matched with a striking bold turquoise accent color of the wall, creating a lively signature look of the space.
Timeless Tones
Standing in the highest level of the building, this home has a color palette of white, beige, and grey. In the living room, an L-shaped sofa in light grey sits on a similarly hued carpet with a geometric pattern, the round white table with wooden leg adds texture and contrast. A customized bookshelf hung against the wall near the dining area to display owner’s book collection. The simple dining area is parked in front of the bar counter, keeping the spaciousness of the space towards living area. The colors are carried through to the kitchen and bedrooms as well. Large windows allow natural light to illuminate the interiors of the room, filtered through light gold-tone curtains, which give the space a hotel style look.
Subtle Sophistication
Rich in texture, yet elegant and subtle at the same time, is what this house is all about. A mixture of stone and wood in the spacious family area firstly greets the eye when entering the main door. The dining area is quietly located against a soft tiled wall, creating a mood for al-fresco dining at the balcony. The master bedroom takes the tone down, conveying a luxury feel with a custom-colored velvet-looking wall finish.

Incomplex Industrial
Minimalist with a hint of industrial-style aesthetics, this is what this house is all about. Starting with the spacious living room with a white-washed long brick wall. The room is mostly covered in white walls so that it brings out the details of the furniture. It even brings out the black track light piping that runs through out the house, creating a contrast and an eye catching element in the space. Turning in to the kitchen, the tall glass door with a customized black handle is designed to widen the view from both the living room and the kitchen. Unlike other rooms, the walls are coated in cement layer to achieve industrial look, and also the selection of appliances and built-ins that are kept minimal so that it does not overwhelm the narrow and long space. The same concept goes to the master bedroom, especially the wardrobe that goes all the way to the ceiling, is furnished with a sleek tall black handle that captures one’s attention when entering the room. The overall look of the house remained easy on the eye, but yet the details bring out the uniqueness to the living space.
Urban Rustic Countryside
At first glance, this house looks industrial from the entrance with a long unit of black metal structured storage, light wood finished bookshelves, and TV console. The dark walnut wooden flooring compliments the space, making a contrast with the white wash wall. However, kitchen tells a different story. Coming from an Asian and European background, the homeowners want to have a countryside and rustic feel, at the same time mixing it with local elements. With using white paneled door and a classic knob for the cabinets, added to a light wood solid top, the dry kitchen is able to represent a European countryside home. The wet kitchen is enriched with Asian Peranakan tiles, that is used in both bathrooms as accent walls. Not forgetting the bright wall in the wet kitchen and white tiled back splash that widen up the minimal cooking space.
Simple and Sleek
A clean, simple, yet warm and welcoming space is what the owner is aiming for this house. The study room wall has been modified partially to a glass window to achieve openness in the space, but it also has options for a private study and screening corner. The space as a whole – living, dining, and study area, is using a minimal choice of material finish to maintain the simplicity of the space. A mirror-striped panel flows from the entrance to the dining space, creating the flow of the space, and also to capture scenery from the house environment to be framed up as a subtle decoration. The daughter’s room platform bed is compact and practical, it has everything she needs, even a full height mirror! A walk-in wardrobe completes the look of the warm and cozy master bedroom with an integrated TV console in the sliding wardrobe opposite the bed.
Modern Resort
Not all homes have the luxury of space to grow and live in, especially when residing in a metropolitan city. That is why we have proposed to have an outdoor dining area and a spacious indoor living space, not only because the balcony is spacious, but also it is always better to dine with a beautiful view. The living area is served as a mini theater, furnished with textured TV panel and refined tall compartment for CDs and DVDs, with a projector screen hidden in the pelmet. The rooms are personalized to the users. The master bedroom is designed like a hotel room where there is a tall comfortable cushioned bedhead with a strip of light shines out creating warm ambient in the room. An elegant and polished TV unit completes the look in the room. The masculine looking room is for a young boy who likes gaming. The room is equipped with compartments to store his hi tech gadgets, so that it is kept neat and tidy. Guest room is served as a study room as well, so function is the main priority in the design.
